Real estate software is what differentiates great agents from good agents. The right software allows Realtors to generate leads, market their personal brands, nurture leads, stay organized, and close deals better than they could on their own.
But with so many options on the market, choosing the right tools isn’t easy. That’s why we decided to update our picks for the best real estate software for 2023. We organized the tools by category and linked to our deep-dive review articles and buyer guides—making it easier for you to find the one tool that you simply won’t be able to live without.
Lead Generation Software
1. Catalyze AI
Pricing: Starting at $120 a month
Catalyze AI is one of the most interesting new players using artificial intelligence to generate leads for agents. Here’s how it works: When someone inherits a property, whether it’s a surviving spouse or the adult children, Catalyze AI uses artificial intelligence (AI) to be the “step zero” solution to put you in the right place before the right time. You’ll receive new leads each month to begin building those relationships that will make you the natural choice when it’s time to choose a Realtor. Real Tactics Pro readers will receive 50% off their first month with promo code “THECLOSE.”
2. Market Leader
Pricing: Starting at $189 per month
In-depth review: Market Leader Review +Video Walkthrough
Market Leader has been the industry standard for several years. It’s hard to compete with a comprehensive platform that will acquire, engage, nurture, and convert your real estate leads. We love it so much, Market Leader was Real Tactics Pro’s top lead generation company in 2022 and we still recommend it to our readers.
Market Leader users get a unique lead per month guarantee along with extras like beautiful agent websites, email, paid social, and even print marketing, inside their marketing center.
3. Zurple
Pricing: Starting at $400 per month
In-depth review: Zurple Review +Video Walkthrough
Did you ever wish you could figure out when your leads are ready to buy or sell before they’re ready to buy or sell? Zurple’s patent pending software lets you do just that. Zurple starts by generating exclusive leads for you. But instead of just dumping them into one-size-fits-all drip campaigns like most CRMs, Zurple’s intelligent nurturing system sends them emails and texts based on their behavior. When they’re close to a transaction, the system sends you an alert so you can step in and convert them to customers. It takes all the guesswork out of lead nurturing so you can focus on selling.
4. Zillow Premier Agent
Pricing: Varies by ZIP code
In-depth review: Is Zillow Premier Agent Worth the Cost?
Over the past few years, Zillow Premier Agent has grown up. Instead of just blasting out cold leads like they used to, Premier Agent now offers more ways to become the primary point of contact for a lead, in addition to helping you nurture and close them.
Using the tool, you can see which homes your leads are viewing and saving to make sure you reach out with the right message at the right time. They also offer a streamlined CRM with task reminders, notes, and mobile notifications. The customer experience report lets you know exactly what your leads think of you without having to ask.
Real Estate CRM Software

Even better, Top Producer is leading the pack with access to MLS data, market snapshot reports, and native integrations.
IDX Website + CRM Platforms

7. iNCOM

Pricing: $499+ per month
In-depth review: kvCORE Review: What Does It Offer Teams & Brokerages in 2022?
One of the early movers in the all-in-one real estate lead generation and CRM platforms, Inside Real Estate’s kvCORE platform is finally ready for its close-up. 9. Real Geeks
Pricing: $249+ per month
In-depth review: Real Geeks Review: An In-depth Look at Pricing & Features
Founded in 2010 by real estate agent Jeff Manson, Real Geeks‘ core mission has never changed: To build IDX websites and a CRM that generates tons of leads for real estate agents. IDX Websites + Marketing Tools
Is your website doing what it should to build your brand and market your business? Consider these providers as part of the solution.
11. AgentFire
Pricing: $149 per month
One of the problems with all-in-one website and CRM platforms is that they force you to upgrade to new “tiers” that include features you don’t want or need. That’s why we love AgentFire. AgentFire starts with sleek, professionally designed websites and then lets you add on only the features you want as you grow.
In addition, AgentFire provides a lot more than just pretty websites. It also offers agents a full library of lead capture tools including calls to action (CTAs), landing pages, lead magnets, neighborhood guides, market reports, blogs, and much more. They even offer training with coaching legend Tom Ferry.
12. Placester
Pricing: $79 – $319 per month

That’s why Placester almost always makes it to the top of our list of the best website builders and real estate software. Their sites are designed for one purpose: lead capture.
Don’t get me wrong—Placester’s websites are beautiful. But they are also A/B-tested to ensure lead capture. They even offer helpful features like prewritten content libraries, a CRM, and a brand-new services marketplace to help you find design and tech talent quickly.
If you’re a National Association of Realtors (NAR) member, you qualify for a Placester website complete with an IDX feed and basic lead capture options for just $119 per month.
13. Luxury Presence
Pricing: Starting at $220+ per month plus setup fee
If you’re even thinking about getting into luxury real estate, then cookie-cutter website templates aren’t going to cut it. Your personal brand is crucial for success in high-end real estate, which is why your website needs to be uniquely yours. As one of the earliest and most respected luxury real estate website designers, Luxury Presence should be at the top of your list when it comes to real estate software that’ll help you create a new website.
Their designers have created websites for some of the most successful real estate agents in the world, and believe it or not, they are more affordable than you might think. A semi-custom website from Luxury Presence starts at just $180 per month with a $500 setup fee. Of course, the sky’s the limit from there, but getting started is what counts. Social Media & Marketing Software
Winging it on social media is for newbies. If you can get professional design and engagement experts in your corner, you can focus on your clients.
14. PorchLyte
Show up confidently and easily online using Porchlyte. It provides comprehensive social media marketing tools and AI-powered solutions made for by a modern agent for today’s agents.
15. Coffee & Contracts
Pricing: $59 – $499 per month
Real Tactics Pro Score: 4.7
In-depth review: Coffee & Contracts Review: Pricing, Design, Features + More for 2023
If you need tools to give your social media marketing a boost this year, Coffee & Contracts should be high on your list. Founded by Florida Realtor Haley Ingram, Coffee & Contracts offers hundreds of gorgeous templates and scripts for Instagram Reels, Stories, and posts, along with everything else you need to market your business. Even better, everything they offer is a cut above the design quality you’ll find on Canva, and it’s clear the prewritten copy was created by someone who actually works in real estate.
Choosing between Lab Coat Agents Marketing Center and Coffee & Contracts isn’t easy, but if you want to increase engagement on social media, go with Coffee & Contacts. If you want a scalable solution for your brokerage including custom branding, Lab Coat Agents Marketing Center might work best for you.
16. Agent Crate
Pricing: $24 – $90 per month
Real Tactics Pro Score: 4.6
If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative to Coffee & Contracts or Lab Coat Agents Marketing Center, Agent Crate should be on your list. While their design and copy might not work for every Realtor’s brand, they offer amazing value for money, an in-app design studio, and automated social media posting.
17. Canva for Real Estate
Pricing: Free – $119 per month
While we normally recommend real estate-specific design tools like the three we mentioned above, Canva can still be an excellent choice if cash is tight or you want to try your hand at DIY design and copywriting.
Canva is a widely used platform for collaborative design that now offers a host of templates specifically for real estate agents. It’s is available at an affordable price, and designs can be accessed across the internet by multiple team members. One feature we especially like is the ability to create graphics and schedule them to post on social media directly from Canva.
17. ChatGPT
Pricing: Free – $20 per month
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, ChatGPT is an AI application that uses OpenAI’s language models to answer questions, write pretty much anything you want, and even create working code.
So why am I including ChatGPT here under marketing software and not in the AI category? Simple. ChatGPT is not quite ready for prime time when it comes to answering legal questions or avoiding thorny NAR violations. But it is absolutely, astonishingly amazing at one thing: writing marketing copy. So the next time you’re pulling out your hair trying to come up with a killer listing description, you might want to give ChatGPT a try. Just keep in mind that, since the app is more popular than Justin Beiber these days, you might have to wait in line to use the free version, and pricing for the paid version will almost certainly increase.
18. Buffer
Pricing: Free – $10 per month
Once you’ve created your thumb-stopping social media posts, you’re going to need good social media management software to show them to the world. Buffer is an excellent choice since it’s more affordable than other software in this arena and offers the same basic tools.
The magic of Buffer is that it lets you schedule your social media posts so you don’t have to remember to post every day. Instead, you can create an entire month’s worth of posts in one busy weekend and then schedule them on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and your Google business profile.
Lead Qualifying & Nurturing Software
Whether you buy leads or generate them via cold calling and door knocking, you need to spend some time evaluating prospects and converting them into clients. Here’s some help for that journey.
19. Freshdesk Messaging
Pricing: Free – $39 per month
In-depth review: The Pivot: Are Real Estate Chatbots Still Worth It in 2022?
When it comes to your website, you owe it to yourself (and your bank account) to invest in the latest technology to turn site visitors into leads. Freshdesk Messaging is advanced chat software that you can easily plug into your website, letting you do just that. It gives your site visitors exactly what they want: instant gratification!
The software can ping your phone whenever someone has a question, or better yet, you can easily program a chatbot to engage visitors until they’re ready to talk to you. Best of all, Freshdesk Messaging is free for basic chat features. Pro accounts—which include varying levels of access to advanced AI chatbots, multi-language support, file attachments, and more—cost between $15 and $39 per month.
20. RealScout
Pricing: $39 per month
Let’s face it—most buyers only really want one thing from you: new homes for sale that they might want to buy. The problem is that scouring your MLS for new listings is time-consuming, especially for leads that might be years away from making a move.
RealScout solves this problem by sorting listings in your MLS by 400 criteria and emailing contenders to your leads. Its real estate software even uses machine learning to compare new listings side-by-side for your leads. When prospects are ready to tour a listing, the platform will notify you instantly.
21. Structurely
Pricing: Starting at $425 per month (for up to 50 leads)
Taking the concept of automated lead nurturing to the next level, Structurely uses AI to respond to your leads and qualify them instantly. After that, their AI assistant will even follow up with them … for an entire year. It’s not cheap, but considering you’ll get the equivalent of a human inside sales agent working for you 24/7, it might actually save you money.
Of course, robotic lead nurturing isn’t perfect, so Structurely is designed to notify you the minute your leads are ready to talk so you can land that appointment. And we’ll be watching out for more lead nurturing services like Structurely as AI continues to grow in popularity.
Real Estate Prospecting Platforms
We don’t need to tell you that agents need leads to keep their business afloat. Here are a few options that can help you fill your pipeline.
22. REDX + Power Dialer
Pricing: $49.99+ per month
In-depth review: REDX Review: Why Smart Realtors Use REDX & Power Dialer
If you’re cold calling without using an auto-dialer, you’re leaving money on the table. Period. Ask any agent who cold calls. There’s just no way your fingers can keep up with the volume of numbers you need to dial, not to mention dealing with voicemails, hang-ups, and wrong numbers.
So if you want to start cold calling FSBOs, expireds, or just want to effectively connect with prospects living around one of your listings, then you owe it to yourself to upgrade to REDX + Power Dialer. Even better, REDX is offering Real Tactics Pro readers $150 off the setup price, automatically deducted when you click over to their site from this article.
23. Vulcan7
Pricing: Call for pricing
Like REDX, Vulcan7 provides agents with expired, FSBO, FRBO, and preforeclosure leads. They also offer a basic CRM, dialer, and circle prospecting tool that is perfect for agents who like to market to neighbors after closing a deal or getting a new listing.
Choosing between REDX and Vulcan7 comes down to a matter of personal preference, but if you want to circle prospect, then Vulcan7 is the solid choice. Hardcore cold callers might prefer REDX’s power dialer.
24. Avochato
Pricing: Free – $35 per month
If you want to double-down on text message outreach this year (and why wouldn’t you?), you need to check out how to incorporate the latest text messaging software. Avochato gives agents, inside sales agents, and other team members a fully featured desktop dashboard they can use to text with many leads and clients at once.
You can access easy-to-use message templates, send one-to-many texts, and of course, click-to-dial for hot leads or clients who need extra help. It also gives you 10 unique phone numbers so you can easily segment leads from online sources, signage, open houses, and so on.
Predictive Analytics & AI Software
Don’t get left behind when it comes to the disruptive technologies entering the real estate industry. Instead, get technology working for your business with these software options.
25. Revaluate
Pricing: $139 per month for 2,000 contacts
While terms like predictive analytics and AI have been floating around the industry for a few years now, only a handful of companies live up to the hype. Revaluate is one of them.
Revaluate leverages AI, machine learning, and big data to analyze past and current events to predict the future. In practice, this means they use super-smart software that sifts through millions of pages of data to figure out when someone will move. If this wasn’t enough to pique your interest, they also use that same real estate software to reinvigorate all the old, cold, dead leads in your CRM.
26. First.io
Pricing: Call for pricing
First.io is another real estate software platform that uses predictive analytics to help agents find listing opportunities. The software scans your network using 700 personal and property-related data points as well as AI to help you target the people who are more likely to move.
First.io focuses on conversations, not campaigns. Its mobile app makes it easy to connect with people before they’re ready to move. It uses a simple star rating system and prompts to remind you exactly when to reach out.
Home Valuation Software
When it comes to cranking out CMAs, most agents would rather get a root canal. Here are some companies that can make the process less painful.
27. Cloud CMA + Homebeat
Pricing: $41.58+ per month
Cloud CMA, the industry-leading CMA generation software in the Cloud Agent Suite, transformed putting together CMAs from a tedious chore into something you can fire off to a lead while you’re waiting in line at Starbucks.
Along with the standard Cloud CMA software, you also get Homebeat. This real estate software allows you to send out automated CMAs as a way to nurture leads or stay top of mind with former seller clients. It sends out automated online CMAs on the cadence you choose: monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Perfect for “set it and forget it” drip campaigns.
If I had one complaint about Cloud CMA it’s that their designs are a little … dated. Graphic design standards are rising throughout the industry, so hopefully companies like Cloud CMA will abandon their MS Word 95 look soon to keep up.
28. HouseCanary Property Explorer
Pricing: $29.99 per report
When it comes to using AI and predictive analytics to improve home valuations, HouseCanary’s Property Explorer is the real deal. It’s a game-changer for agents.
The software’s home valuations are based on dozens of data points, both public and private. Instead of going back a year or two, it considers trends from the past few decades when coming up with valuations. Think of it as Zestimates with a brain transplant.
Open House & Showing Software
You need a simple solution to the problem that every agent who has run an open house has faced: smudged, illegible sign-in sheets.
29. Curb Hero
Pricing: Free
In-depth review: 9 Open House Apps Tech-savvy Agents Are Using to Get More Leads
Formerly Block Party, Curb Hero offers agents open house sign-in software for free. It might not have all the bells and whistles of competitors like Open Home Pro and Spacio, but it has touchless QR code sign-in, single-property websites, and background info collection. It also integrates with more than 200 CRMs—all for free.
30. Open Home Pro
Pricing: Free – $20 per month
Used by more than 90,000 agents, Open Home Pro is a must for those who run many open houses.
In addition to replacing your paper sign-in sheet with easy-to-use technology, Open Home Pro also offers basic CRM functionality like lead management and automated lead follow-up emails. It even creates reports to show sellers how successful your open houses are.
31. ShowingTime
Pricing: Contact for pricing
Even though it’s getting a little long in the tooth, ShowingTime is still a vital tool for real estate agents. I mean, 950,000 real estate agents can’t be wrong. Well, they could, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? ShowingTime ain’t broke.
It does the job it’s supposed to do– scheduling showings– without the drama. Hard to complain about that.
32. Calendly
Pricing: Free – $16 per month
Of course, that doesn’t mean that ShowingTime doesn’t have competition. When it comes to scheduling appointments online, Calendly has them beat. How many times have you gone back and forth with a lead trying to settle on a date? Calendly makes it easy. All your lead needs to do is pick a date from a calendar, and Calendly will only show them the times you’re available.
Real Estate Transaction Management Software
A lot goes into keeping a real estate deal on track. If you don’t have a personal assistant (or you have a growing team or brokerage) you need a tool to manage the details.
33. Dotloop
Pricing: starting at $31.99 per month
Although the competition was fierce, it looks like Dotloop has come out on top for the best real estate transaction management software for another year.
If your office doesn’t offer real estate software like Dotloop along with your other perks, then it might make sense to jump in and track your deals with Dotloop.
34. Amitree Folio
Pricing: Free – $19 per month
Amitree Folio is a well-kept secret weapon for newbie agents. After all, it’s free, sits right on top of Gmail, and offers some pretty fantastic transaction management and organization tasks for busy Realtors.
While the free version is perfect for brand new agents, you’ll want to upgrade to the Pro version once you have more than three deals in your pipeline at a time.
Expense Tracking Software
Does your accountant cringe every time you darken their doorway? Make tax time easier with these tools.
35. Realtyzam
Pricing: Free – $9 per month
If you’re anything like me, then you probably have receipts stuffed into jacket pockets, in your car, and in that ever growing pile of “important” papers on your desk. Then when tax time hits, the scramble begins. Luckily we live and work in 2023, so there is a high-tech way to avoid the chaos.
Realtyzam is an easy-to-use accounting and expense tracking app that helps you get all those receipts out of your pockets and into your iPhone. A quick scan is all it takes and Realtyzam does the rest. It also connects to your bank and credit card accounts and automatically categorizes expenses according to rules you set.
36. MileIQ
Pricing: Free – $9 per month
While Realtyzam is fantastic for expense tracking, it doesn’t offer a way to track mileage on your car. MileIQ, Microsoft’s simple and popular mileage-tracking app, is the easiest way to fill in the gap that Realtyzam misses. Since the IRS recently upped the standard mileage rate to 65.5 cents per mile, MileIQ will pay for itself the first time you do taxes.
Writing Software
If you want to get ahead in real estate, learning how to write clearly and efficiently is no longer optional. This tool will help you do just that.
37. Grammarly
Pricing: Free – $15 per month
Let’s face it. If there is one group of professionals who need to work on their grammar, it’s real estate agents. Maybe it’s the low barrier to entry, or maybe agents are just always busy, but we all know that agents need help with writing.
Yuo cna porbalby raed tihs desptie teh msispeillgns rhigt? Your leads likely can too, but are they going to call you back when you send them yet another email riddled with typos? Why risk it? Grammarly checks your grammar, spelling, and even sentence structure and style with both its free and paid version. It operates inside your email server and through your browser so it can correct your blogs posts, Google documents, and outgoing email messages.
Will ChatGPT or other writing apps using the AI replace Grammarly? Maybe, but I think it’s only a matter of time before writing apps like Grammarly get onboard the AI train. Watch this space for updates!
