Thank you for this article. Another realtor and myself have discussed many of the topics here and wished we had more insight in order to not have the shock treatment of first time agents. A lot of information not shared on the “how to be successful “ or a road map when transitioning from steady paycheck to whenever you close a deal. It can be a game changer. You have to figure it all out!

I would say at the point that it starts to hurt you and your family financially, or you start to realize that you're not quite cut out for the real estate industry. This is going to be different for everyone so make sure you come up with a "breaking point" that you set for yourself and then stick to.

At what point does not giving up become impractical because nothing has happened in over 8 months? Trying to survive just to say you didn't quit when there are powerhouse teams that have more business than they can handle is incredibly frustrating.<code>

yep Robert Slack has the craziest success story from real estate ever, he'll probably make over 10 million in commissions in 2019 after being dead broke and selling used cars just 5 years ago!!
