I have lived in and sold five homes in my 68 years, and I now own two more in addition to those five. I retired from a profession where I had “clients”. In my experience the most important thing with clients is communication—even if it’s bad news. And a corollary of that , “no surprises”. A client needs to hear what’s happening. If nothing happened one week then say so. Or say what you did during this week to try to move things along. Do not let a week go by without communication with the client.
