How come the .us extension isn't mentioned. For instance, how is "teamericdifficultlastname.com" better than, for instance, Sold.us?

So I shouldn't use johhny2222realtorzz.org? :( ugh back to the drawing board

It is offered FREE to members of NAR. Also, if I recall correctly, it is not legal for a real estate agent to use the word "REALTORŪ" in a website domain due to it being trademarked. :)

I'm a new REALTORŪ (licensed in 2/2022) and before I was licensed I was a graphic designer, website developer and social media marketer. It is not impossible to rank 1st page in a busy market in decent time. I've done it, and I've not even killed myself over posting and sharing every single day. Now I do have A LOT of automations in place, and circular reach, but all my accounts point at each other. I've also got 20 years of knowledge to back me up where most don't so I went in knowing how to SEO, Keyword, connect pieces via API/Zapier, basically make my website work for me-connect with my CRM, autopost to FB, Instagram, Youtube, etc. However, with the right systems in place, it can be done. If I were to build my site from scratch on wordpress it would have ranked sooner, higher and look even better, but with me being new and needing to concentrate on actual real estate work I did give up my 'control' (back end, coding, etc) I have just enough coding reach in my website to allow me to connect certain parts. Once I have all my systems in place I will be building a custom wordpress site with custom CRM that will be proprietary to my needs

You write TLD and TDL. I want to be sure that they're one and the same: Top-level Domain. Am I right?

Personally, I think two syllable TLDs are a little clunky sounding and a little harder to pair with a brand name. That said, could be a good way to snag a domain name that you otherwise wouldn't have.

NAR is rolling out a .realtor this year. Any thoughts?

In reply to <a href="https://theclose.com/real-estate-domain-names/comment-page-3/#comment-305787">Dario Ferreira</a>. Hi Dario, Competing with Zillow/Realtor AND established brokerages with a brand new website is incredibly difficult and time consuming. Even if you made this your full time job you would still struggle. Domain Authority rises slowly, and to get to a position where ranking in the first page is even possible can and will take years in many markets.

>>In fact, ranking your website or even a page on your website for any keywords that might get you leads is not only hard, but often effectively impossible. Sorry, but this is totally wrong. Getting leads by SEOing a real estate website is very doable. Don't understand why people keep saying stuff like this.
